Love, Simon Taggity-Tag

Yeah I know…I’ve already done a Love, Simon post already about my experience watching the movie, but when I saw Rhapsody’s post with her Tags, I just had to join in too. So, here are my answers to the tagged questions

Halloween Oreos: Favourite snack food?
Hmmmm. I actually don’t know. I just eat whatever is around! I’m not against snacks, but sitting down for a nice meal while watching a movie is better. Something like noodles, sushi, chow mein or the staple – tuna and rice. Don’t question it!

Panic! At The Disco: Celebrity crush? Or favourite celebrity?
Okay, so you’re not gonna believe this and it might give you a heart attack but I haven’t listened to Panic! At the Disco. Well, I may have heard excerpts but I have WEEEEEIRD music taste so it’s not really my thing.
Celebrity crush? I thought really hard about this because I was convinced I didn’t have one, but if I had to say someone it would be John Boyega. Yes, the same John Boyega who plays Finn in Star Wars. He is one of the most hilarious and charming human beings on the planet.

Iced Coffee: Token drink?
Token drink? GAH these food/drink questions. I’m bad at picking favourite anythings. I’d probably say Lemon Lime and Bitters. Great stuff.

Bieber: Do you have any pets, what are their names?
Ummmm duh. I have two siamese cats, one called Spartacus like the warrior. Or that’s what I say anyway. I found out earlier this year (Spartacus is now 8 years old or smth so this is actually ridiculous) that apparently he was named after the Spartacus from the ballet. Yeah. We used to have another cat who was called Nijinsky. Slightly more obvious with the ballet thing but gah, what is it with ballets that my parents love. ANYWAY, so my second cat is called Sherlock. It was a compromise, because my parents were gonna call him something like ‘Wotan’ or ‘Siegfried’ from Wagner’s Ring Cycle. Yeah. The Opera. I play the embarrassed teen card. So by agreeing to Sherlock I got out of that one. Oh, and I have 4 turtles, but strangely I don’t actually know what their names are. They’re old and all that I remember is that their names are VERY long and VERY complicated. I just pretend that they’re named after the ninja turtles so lets just go with that.

Bad, but Enthusiastic Cooking: What is the favourite and least meal you’ve ever eaten?
Well I mentioned the meal thing before, but I actually don’t know what my most favourite meal has been. I mean I LIVE for sushi (I only ever eat tuna and cucumber – I’m fussy, shh) and chow mein so I guess we’ll go with that.
Least favourite? OH GOSH. I can’t stand eggs. Like eggs that aren’t mixed into a cake. I’m also the most fussy eater on the planet so basically I hate A LOT OF FOOD. And it makes it incredibly hard to eat out or at anyone’s house. Had to go to this person’s house for lunch and nothing there was anything I could really eat, so I had to try and eat some quiche. Let’s just say over time I’ve developed a bit of a gag reflex. I didn’t vomit there (thank god), but I couldn’t exactly get anything to go down. It wasn’t the best day. But like anything seafood…that’s just another gag-fest waiting to happen.

The Bachelor: Any guilty pleasure reads/movies/shows?
Oh honey, everything I watch and read are guilty pleasure reads. The amount of times people come up to me and are embarrassed about what they’ve been watching I’m just standing there shaking my head. DON’T EVER BE EMBARRASSED. I watch every reality show possible (strangely not the Bachelor/Bachelorette tho). I also watch way too much TV. (E.g. So far in my one-week holiday I’ve watched about 4-5 seasons worth of shows…yeah)
I’ve watched everything from Survivor, Supersize Vs Superskinny, Beauty and the Geek right up to watching literally every single cringe-worthy sitcom. Why be embarrassed about the things you enjoy? Life’s too short for that!

School Production: Are you part of your school production/have been in the past? If not, what’s your favourite musical?
We never had anything like that at my high school, just lots of ensembles which I had to be a part of as a musician.
Favourite musical though? THE PRODUCERS. It’s not exactly the most ummmm appropriate musicals of all time, but I still love it with all of my being.

Graduation: What are you most excited about doing after you finish high school?
…I’m already done. BUT I still have a bunch of stuff I wanna do. I wanna go to Japan more than anything, I want to get an internship at a publishing company. I would love to someday be on a panel chatting about books and then eventually be an author. That would be AH-MAZING.

Ferris Wheel: What would be the most romantic thing you can think of?
No friend of mine would say I’m a romantic person, but they don’t know that I’m secretly probably one of the biggest romantics there are. I love the idea of bookshopping with a significant other, spending time reading together, cooking together and laughing over really, reallly, really trashy TV together. I seriously need someone to just join in on talking tactics with me as I watch Survivor or watching Beauty and the Geek arguing over who should be voted out next. (Wow, arguing? What a romantic right? SHHH)

Blue: Have you ever been dubbed with any nicknames?
Not really. One person in primary school did write my name down wrong one time so that I was called Juice. As a big fan of juice, I can’t say I’m particularly mad about that.

Jacques: When do you feel most yourself?
I hardly ever feel like myself honestly. Most people in my life aren’t that into books and tv shows, things that I love with all of my being. Very occasionally I’ve come across people who love this as much as I have, and those times have been some of the best I’ve had in my life.
I actually went over to Manchester last year for 2 weeks, and I met some friends during that extremely short time that I think will stay my friends for the rest of my life. Every time I hear from them I actually beam bigger and brighter than the brightest lighthouse you’ve ever seen. Some people are just good eggs you know?
